I like this photo, this was taken inside with the flash on and the quality of the photo is very good, its clear and focus's well on the models facial expressions. I want to use a medium close up for my cover which is why I decided to practice this shot on the camera. This is better than the photos for my college magazine because its a lot clearer, the college photo taken is bad quality and sets a dull lighting which doesn't appeal to people, the college photo was also slightly distorted and didn't focus well whereas the SLR camera used in these shots are much better.
This photo was taken outside without a flash, I prefer the natural lighting in this, I took this photo looking up to get a low angle shot as I wanted to try out different kinds of shots with this camera. The photo is clear and includes both the setting and the model, this would work in my magazine as setting is important to as this also tells a story about the artist.
This was taken outside, the lighting is good in this as it sets a natural ambiance. I took this shot with the SLR camera from a higher angle so I can capture the model moving and see the body language of the model. This shot is a long shot, so it doesn't focus on the face but on all the body language which has the power to get certain messages across to the reader of my magazine, in this each step she climbs is another step in her 'rock career.
This photo was taken inside with the flash on so it creates artificial light. I like this medium close up shot as the background is slightly blurred however the model is very clear which makes her stand out and seem more important.
This is one of the photo's I took that didn't go right and was Trial&Error. I took this outside with the flash on and its made the model very white therefore I know to rely on the natural lighting when taking photos outside.
This was a photo I took inside the lighting is bad in this and creates a dull sheen. I was practicing zooming with the SLR camera however it went out of focus and became blurred which means the model wasn't clear and the medium shot didn't highlight facial expressions or clothes very well.
