Research and Planning: My Models Makeup

For my models makeup I have took inspiration from the character from Nightmare Before Christmas, as my magazine is rock I want to explore the freaky side of rock e.g. Marilyn Manson. I will copy the stitches around the mouth to get a new sort of look for my artist.

I want to express two sides to my model as I want her to have a two sided character, she can be freaky but normal rock too, I am going to do this by making my model seem freaky on the cover however in the double page spread I want her to be typical rock with the make-up below, I feel purple lips and smoky eys will look very effective together and get the look I want.
