I have looked at what Mise-en-scene Q magazine creates when they have photo shoots for artists. In this particular photo the background is set out like a police arrest however it would be plain white without the black height lines behind the artists, this helps the artists stand out because if the background was too busy it would take away from the artist and focus more on the setting. I like the mise-en-scene created here as it makes the artists seem dangerous and gives us an impression of the artists just by putting in sign props and the police setting.
This is an interesting mise-en-scene, they have used a landscape long shot so we get a vast view of the artist and the setting. I like the use of furniture and animals in this photo and I think I could apply this to one of my photo shoots. This shoot isn't to busy and creates a laid back atmosphere which I think is effective. I think the lighting is really well used here and I like how the furniture and panthers create shadows.
This mise-en-scene is focused on the background a lot as they have a good landscape shot of a natural environment but have then put in the car prop which is man made and contrasts to the setting. The car prop looks old and busted hence the smoke coming up from behind the car, the artists are stood on the car which is a rockstar thing to do and gives off a care free vibe.
